Well situated for the Kalagadi Mats Mata border/ gate

Very comfortable, well equipped, clean

We had the two little cottages, ex-stables, that have been lovingly turned into quaint accommodation for two people, per cottage. The beds were elegant, comfortable and made us feel right at home. The kitchenette had plenty of space, a fridge, a beautiful old electric oven and gas hob, a sink and it led out onto a lovely outdoor braai and seating area looking towards the dunes. The weather was beautiful, we were welcomed and taken care of as if we were old friends and the location is just gorgeous. We were so sad to have to leave after only one night and I'd love to stay again if were ever going that way again. Terra Rouge is very close to the Mata-Mata gate into the Kgalagadi TF Park and is in a quiet, wide-open farming area. A fabulous find!

Excellent for relaxation and access to Kgalagadi. Hiking trail to nice view points on dunes.

It is a great place to stay at Kalahari desert on the way to Mata Mata and SA border, with a wonderfull host Peter who wants to share his farm life exerience. The room we booked was very comfortable, spacious, fully equiped and lovely decorated by Hanli. The icing on the cake was meeting a giraffe on our evening walk in the sunset :) Hanli - Thank you for hospitality.
