La Trottoria Agriturismo

The food was of very good quality and well cooked. The buildings were pleasant. The owners were friendly and helpful. The host spoke some English but, as tourism is still rather underdeveloped in that area of Italy, competent English speakers are not as common as in many other destinations. There were sandy beaches within a few minutes drive, catering to the locals, and they can be crowded.

Quiet location but close enough to the beaches and Otranto. I found that after 9am the guests had all left for the day and the pool and sun beds were all mine! Use of the pool any time was great. Breakfast was substantial.

Nothing annoyed me. I found some of the previous negative reviews really hard to make sense of!

The location is superb since it is so close to the beach (around a 6 minute drive to the Pine beach.) The accommodation itself is very spacious, with outside sofas and tables. The swimming pool adds to its value-a swim before breakfast was so refreshing. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis (as well as the change of towels which we found too excessive because of the current global environmental situation).

The room was too small (considering the fact that the surroundings were sooo spacious). The size of the room includes its outside space -balcony-terrace!
