Agriturismo Poggio ai Legni

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans l’établissement Poggio ai Legni. Excellent accueil, vue splendide et logement très confortable.

Zur Lage: Das Appartment befindet sich im Obergeschoss eines bewohnten Bauernhauses (Agriturismo). Abseits vom Trubel in sehr malerischer Landschaft, und alle wichtigen Hotspots der Toskana gut erreichbar. Sehr ländlich mit Hühnern und Pferden vor dem Fenster. Ein eigenes Auto ist Pflicht! Die letzten 500 Meter gehen über eine unbefestigte Straße.etwas unwirklich aber trotzdem gut zu machen. Zur Selbstversorgung: Ein sehr großer Supermarkt ist 10 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. ...Und leckeres dort produziertes Olivenöl gab es auch zum Kaufen für zu Hause.

Fabulous location, great views, and a very well-equipped kitchen. We loved the outside space and big spacious rooms. There’s a lovely walk to Certaldo and wine tasting at a local vineyard. It’s also well located for San Gimignano, Florence, and Siena, with regular trains from Certaldo.

The house is lovely, the owners are very friendly, and we really enjoyed being on the farm with the chickens. The only small surprise during our stay was one morning when we wore woken by some pigeon shooting close to the house. It was a bit loud and unexpectedly frightening, especially for the children, as we are more used to city life. Otherwise, everything was wonderful.

We've had a fantastic holiday in Tuscany and Poggio ai Legni. I would like to thank Alessandro, Andrea, Aurora and Renato for their great hospitality and for making us feel at home. We fell in love with the place (the house, the views, the surroundings) the minute we walked in. We were very sad to leave, but duties call! We hope to come back in the future. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Tuscany.

No breakfast

No screens on the windows to keep out mosquitos. Air conditioner was a little inadequatae.

The Host was very Nice and Helpful. The View was exceptionally, on top of a hill and you could see at least 30km in all directions. Very quiet, the house was in excellent condition. Great recommendations on Ristorante's within 10-to-15-minute drive, a Coop for shopping, etc. I will return another time and recommend to my friends. Easy to take a 52-minute regional train to Firenze SMN, Siena even closer, Drive is about the same time but no need to park or traffic. Great Stay

I did not mind, but some may not like the 1 km of gravel road, it was in good condition, but after all it is a farm.
