Agriturismo Il Torrione

Very cute place. We had one of the apartments of the original medieval but converted farmhouse. The owners, Lucia and Mauro, and Lucia's brother Salvatore, are warm, welcoming and super friendly. The can tell you all about the surroundings, where to go for trips, restaurants etc. The communication with Lucia was always good and prompt. She was there whenever we needed anything, and made sure we felt at home. The farm is a bit outside of town, and has breathtaking views over the truly beautiful Tuscan landscape. My daughter called it "Extremely instagrammable". The beds were good, albeit a bit hard. There is no breakfast included but in the village, Certaldo, there are small shops (bakeries and butchers) and two large and well-stocked supermarkets. We were here in May, so the pool was cold, but refreshing.

The beds were a bit hard; the hot water runs out a bit fast (after 5-6 mins); otherwise the stay was marvellous

Lucia is one of the best hosts I have met. Her hospitality, kindness and responsive are above and beyond my expectations. Thank you Lucia, we had a great time. Will be back soon.

Among valleys, very close to the sun, surrounded by green scenery, stands a house with warm family. Whenever someone visits, they greet him with open arms and a bottle of homemade wine. Is it a dream? No! Thanks to Lucia and her brother this whole place is like a hidden gem. After a few days we had to left to sightseen another part of Italy, we’ve been to many amazing places, but we missed those golden hours when you feel so close to God and nature. Thank you for such an amazing experience, we’ll be back!

Prefect location at a walking distance to old town and hiking spots. Beautiful views outside the apartment. You can relax in the pool while enjoying the views. Hosts welcomed us with a bottle of wine and they responded quickly to all our queries and requests.

The matress was old and not comfortable. I'm sure that the owner would take necessary actions to replace the mattress after i indicated the same to her during the checkout.

Agriturismo Il Torrione is probably the most beautiful spot I have ever stayed in. The views of the Tuscan countryside are wonderful. Lucia and Salvatore are great people. It helps if you like cats!
