Agriturismo Circugnano

A small family run farm (2 generations) located above Antella village in the municipality of Bagno a Ripoli, Agritoursimo Circugnano is heaven on earth! Deborah was our point of contact for our stay but the entire family was so warm and gracious! There is a book inside the apartment with restaurant recommendations and information about the farm, the wine they make and their award winning EVOO (both so delicious!). Deborah gave us additional, and really helpful, information for where to park in Florence to make our trips to the city easy, as well as where to grocery shop. She even let us play with her dog! Prior to our arrival I needed to find a place to buy a birthday cake and asked for suggestions. I was directed to a near by patisserie that blew our minds. We were looking for a place to stay outside of Florence but close enough to get to most places in Tuscany and this place exceeded our expectations. Easy to drive to surrounding Tuscany towns, villages, wine tastings as well as the historic center of Florence (15 km), airport and train. After being out and about during the day, we found we couldn't wait to get back to sit outside (aperitif!) and enjoy the serenity of the the farm and its surrounding jaw dropping beauty of sloping green hills of olive trees and grape vines. We were here in April so we enjoyed amazing weather with fabulous breezes, gorgeous sunrise walks and sunsets. The apartment itself was fabulous! Charming stone building with a wonderful kitchen, spacious bedrooms with super comfy beds. We will most definitely be back!

Farm and appartment are even better then on photos. You can really feel Tuscany. People are very friendly and helpfull. I do strongly recomend 🙂

Exceptional stay! The view was fantastic! Deborah our host was so kind and knowledgable about the area. Exceeded our expectations on accommodations. The 'cottage' was so cute. Made our trip to Tuscany a memorable one! Will want to come back again one day. They have every thing you can want- just bring along your food.

Nothing it was perfect. I have always wanted to stay in Tuscany. This was a dream come true for me. A trip I will never forget. I highly recommend staying here. There's a pool for warmer months and the wine and olive oil produced by the family is so wonderful. Even my husband who does not drink wine loved their wine! Fresh grown herbs are located just outside your door. Sitting areas are vast so sipping wine, tea or coffee why enjoying the sunset is remarkable. Easy drive and location to Florence.

The property is absolutely enchanting. IF YOU HAVE your own vehicle, there's no reason to not to stay here. Deborah, Anna and the entire family did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. In fact they went out of the way to help us out. A warm welcome, lots of kindness, an absolutely morning/evening view, beautiful rooms and almost everything that you will need for a comfortable stay. The vineyard and the olive farms complements all of these beautifully. A 10 on 10.

We messed up and could not get a car. The commute can be a bit strenuous if you do not have your own vehicle.

We stayed at this amazing property for 10 nights (we are family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 teenagers) Everything was just fantastic and beyond our expectations. The house itself is very spacious and super clean, looks very rustic and authentic, with modern Italian style completely equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and super comfortable beds. The Tuscan view is so picturesque! The lake with ducks in front of the house, small swimming pool, cats, flowers, trees, endless wine yards and olive trees…absolutely beautiful! The location is perfect - on the wine road in very quiet countryside but less then 20 minutes drive from Florence centre, and it wasn’t problem to reach it by car even at the night. Deborah is amazing host, she made everything to let us feel home and even more. Her recommendations for restaurants and parking in Florence were priceless. The olive oil and a wine that they produce is just perfect. Wish we will come back!

Deborah was a great host, very welcoming and helpful, making us feel at home. the location and facilities are butifull and the wine and olive oil they make are exquisite.
