Beaumont is in an absolutely stunning location and even though it has poured rain and the wind has howled since we have been here, we have still very much enjoyed our stay and the friendly and efficient staff.

The deli was amazing.. great food, service and ambiance.

Peppertree Cottage is one of our favourite places to rent for a peaceful few days. Since our last (pre-Covid) visit, the Winery has extended its (daily) Visitors' entertainment/eating area beautifully around the original buildings, and although Pepper Tree Cottage is very close to it all, they have managed to keep its privacy intact. We really enjoy the antiquity of this cottage, uncompromised by the attention to detail, decor and comfort, and the access to its own terraces, front and back, to take advantage of the views and morning & evening sun. The bigger, 4-person, Mill Cottage down below is looking neat and lovely too, and they each have their own generous area of lawn around them, enhanced by the sounds of rushing water along the pretty irrigation canals of the Estate. Breakfast is not included, but available at the Winery during their opening hours (9-4.30), and our own kitchen was well provided with eggs, bread, milk and other essentials. The Deli sells delicious ready-meals - & fabulous soups - to take away, and other basics can be bought from the little supermarket across the road in Botrivier. We enjoyed our walk through the vineyard and fruit trees, accompanied by the owners' two dogs.

The heavy wrought iron chairs on the terraces are difficult to move about, and some comfortable loungers would have been very much appreciated! On this visit the weather wasn't permitting us too long to sit outdoors so we didn't miss them.
