Underfloor heating wasn’t working

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin in Wales. The setting was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, scenic, and the perfect place to switch off and relax. The cabin itself was cosy, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It felt like a real home away from home. The hot tub was a real highlight of the trip. It was fantastic to sit back and enjoy it while taking in the quiet surroundings—it really made the stay feel special and luxurious. The cabin felt private and secluded, yet was still a great base for exploring the local area. It was a fantastic experience and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend it to others looking for a relaxing getaway.

The location was pleasant and peaceful, and the pod was clean on arrival.

On arrival we were informed that the underfloor heating had been decommissioned and replaced with a single oil-filled radiator, which was not adequate for the weather conditions and left the pod extremely cold overnight. There was also no hot water during our stay, which significantly impacted comfort. When these issues were raised, responsibility was repeatedly deflected onto us as guests rather than being acknowledged, and communication felt defensive and unprofessional. Although a full refund was eventually provided, this only occurred after repeated follow-ups.
