Country Club - Sto Estevao

Super value for money, the property is in an idyllic farm setting with animals to visit. The farmer allowed our children to cuddle the baby goats which was an experience in itself. We didn’t use the pool as it was February when we visited and a little cold but it was clean and fenced off from the beautifully manicured garden area. The garden was large, private and had use of a large kitchen/bbq area. We had the garden/pool to ourselves during our stay and the local area is quiet and very safe (gated and fenced around the whole farm). One minor issue may be the lack of local eateries that are open in the off season. The property itself was clean, modern decor, air conditioning/heating in every room. Beds are comfortable, kitchen well equipped and easy TV casting etc. Some damage from disrespectful guests to the clothes racks but nothing that would impact your stay. The lady who met us on arrival was absolutely lovely & welcoming. A slight language barrier was easily overcome with the help of the kind couple next door who were able to translate for us. The farmer is around all day if you needed anything he was so kind and eager to help. Overall this place was a dream, absolutely nothing to complain about! Being precious about mosquitoes on a farm is ludicrous in my opinion but I digress…I plan to return and would recommend it highly to all, especially nature lovers and families.

Todo estupendo, muy limpio y tranquilo. La parcela es increíble

We kregen de meest luxe ruimte, hoewel we een simpeler ruimte hadden geboekt. Alles zag er luxe en goed afgewerkt uit. De keuken was goed voorzien (misschien wel wat lepels aanvullen) en het bed was uitstekend! Het is een rustige plek, in de omgeving niet zo heel veel te doen in de winter, maar Lissabon is vlakbij.

De bank zit niet zo lekker. Erg hard.

O espaço em si é bom e confortável, a proximidade com os animais é interessante. Onde não se passa nada e serve para relaxar.

Foi a primeira vez que estive num AL em que não podemos usufruir da piscina o resto do dia. Como é lógico, a casa tem sempre de ficar vazia para ser higienizada, mas não poder ocupar a zona da piscina por um dia que está pago é algo que não compreendo. Poderia até ser bela sob lotação da área, mas o espaço é grande, a piscina em si é grande e poderia ter sido acordado o abandono do espaço após chegada das próximas pessoas a alugar a casa. Pelo menos até às 13 seria possível ficar. Além disto, a casa de banho tem um leve cheiro que é estranho e as paredes estao manchadas entre a tijoleira. Gostaríamos também que fosse possível sermos recebidos pelos donos, falar com uma pessoa por telemóvel e ser recebido por outra é constrangedor. Sugeria também um dispositivo exterior anti-mosquitos porque, além do espaço ser agradável, é no meio do campo e existem imensas melgas na zona do churrasco.
