Dalmore Guest Farm

Dalmore guestfarm belongs to an operatively working farm and is conveniently located to the northern or middle Drakenstein hiking areas. The houses are beautifully designed and the garden is just wonderful. We had a "private cat" to watch over our terrace. It is a bit off the main road so you have to travel 6km on a gravel street to get there - as a consequence it is super quiet. Delyse was a great host with good tips to explore the area. Breakfast and dinner where both of great quality using products from the farm.

A door between sleeping room and toilet would have been convenient for more privacy.

The room was beautifully decorated, very aligned with the atmosphere. The room was spotless, and the hosts were very accommodating.

For the price (R1900 per night), I felt that I would have expected a fridge and Wi-Fi in the rooms. The breakfast only had pork and no meat alternatives.

Alles hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir hatten eine Reifenpanne und das Personal war uns sehr behilflich. Sie haben uns auch viele Tips gegeben was man in der Nähe unternehmen kann.

Dinner & breakfast were great. The "room" was a small cottage that was very well appointed. The dog joining us for a brief walk after our arrival was fun. We enjoyed an excellent stay.
