Agriturismo Casale Cerere

We had a very good time staying at the farm. The host was so friendly and made an effort to help us with comments on the area and accommodating our breakfast preferences. The room was very comfortable, the bed, the bathroom and the outdoor seating as desired. Nice view over the hills. Really we thought it was a very good place to stay to visit this area, both the immediate villages and further south in Campania. The dogs were very friendly (they do bark at night, but this is a farm and they have their job). We would stay here again when we come to this region.

The room was clean and well 👌 supplied with coffee and refreshments. Breakfast was delivered to the room.

The room really had poor heating, and it stayed cold all night. It was located on top of a mountain and had bad fog.

Breakfast was presented each morning at the requested time. Clean and spotless. Spacious rooms. The location is great, the vistas out over the landscape are beautiful. Hosts were terrific and made the stay very pleasant.

Can't think of anything that was objectionable.

The property and room are quite lovely, with the room and en suite bathroom spacious and appearing to be recently renovated. While no fan or air conditioning, it was not a problem for us mid-September given cooler nights, and windows that could open with screens to allow for air flow. The hosts were very nice and made a lovely little breakfast for us which they delivered to our room in the morning.

The issue was - which we told our host upon checkout - the multiple dogs on the property that were barking and howling through the night. We expected the roosters in the early morning, so that didn't bother us, but the dogs were a real issue for our sleep. The host said that they are normally taken in at night but weren't when we were there overnight for some reason. I would just confirm with the host that this won't be an issue prior to your booking or upon arrival at the property. With no air condition or ceiling fan, the window had to be open which just made the dogs' noises really audible.

Beautiful location, nice host

It was clean, comfortable and safe. A very beautiful sunrise and sunset view. The host was super lovely and kind, gave advices as requested, provided milk for my children at no extra cost, made a great breakfast with fresh orange juice and managed to get a lot of options to fit my gluten free dietary restriction.

I found the bed a bit uncomfortable.

The view at Agriturismo Casale Cerere is breathtaking. It is on a wheat farm surrounded by sprawling hillside farmland Irene, the owner of this B&B, greeted us with her 2 sheep dogs and roosters roaming the property. We were there to discover a little of our roots, but we got so much more. There are only 3 rooms at Casale Cerere so we booked all 3 Each room was a good size,clean,charming and all the comforts of a 4 star hotel. Irene went above and beyond by booking us reservations for lunch and dinner. Both of which were amazing. She also found us a driver, Potito,who stayed with us all day and showed us the charming town of Lacedonia. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. She served us pastries and eggs from her farm and our choice of coffee. Irene gifted us with a jar of her homemade fig spread from the fig tree on her property. The only regret we have is that we couldn't stay longer!
