Ploughman’s Rest

Eine unglaublich schöne Unterkunft auf einer von den Gastgebern geführten Farm. Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt. Daleen ist eine so herzliche Gastgeberin und hat uns außerdem mit leckerem Essen versorgt. Hier kann man entspannen und hat einen guten Ausgangspunkt um die Panorama Route abzufahren.

A wonderful place to be. House and rooms are very well equiped with love. Very good dinner on private fireplace. Hosts are so helpful and friendly, they even organised a birthday surprise. Thank you so much. Anytime again 🙏🥰🙏

So lovely to stay on a working farm - watched some planting happening at the edge of the garden. An exceptional supper under the stars

This establishment is situated in the most panoramic setting with a tranquil garden wrapped around the guesthouse. Daleen is such a friendly host and went out of her way to make our stay special. The decor is exeptional and the linen of good quality. The kitchen is well appointed and the honesty bar is a bonus. This is a serene getaway that comes highly recommended.

It will be nice to have mirrors in the rooms close to electricity sockets.

We stayed at Ploughman‘s Rest for 3 nights and absolutely enjoyed it. The villa is very comfortable and nicely decorated. Daleen was just wonderful and spoiled us with a great breakfast and the best typical South African dinner every day. We enjoyed her ideas for exploring the surroundings a lot as well as talking to her about the farm. Ploughman“s Rest was the best place to start our roundtrip through the northeastern regions of South Africa. We would love to come back next time and highly recommend Ploughman“s Rest when visiting the Blyde River Canyon region
