Riverbend Farm

We stayed in Fynbos cottage. It was spacious and very comfortable with great views. It is fitted out with everything needed for self catering and the kol kol is great for hot and cold weather. We enjoyed ravine and mountain walks with our dogs.

Just a personal choice, but I would have preferred glass wine glasses. But it was not a problem as drinking glasses were available.

We spent a great weekend at Riverbend Farm for a birthday celebration with a group of 15. Accommodating six families across multiple cabins and houses is no small feat, but Alison and Francis made it work seamlessly. The setting and location are fantastic—nestled right in the heart of the olive groves with the mountains as a backdrop. The facilities were excellent and provided everything we needed for a large self-catering get-together. It’s the perfect spot to switch off, enjoy the river, and spend quality time together. The farm is also very pet-friendly, which made the weekend even more special as our dog could join the morning walks through the groves. Peaceful location, easy to get to from CT. Bungalows are a good distance apart so you aren’t aware of your neighbours. Accommodation was modern and very comfortable.

Not a negative, but it think the last section of the drive (the section in Bon Cap) may require a sub type vehicle during periods of heavy rainfall. My mini cooper navigated it fine with a once of heavy shower.
