Beautiful surroundings and views. The chalet was private and surrounded by vineyards. The bedrooms were spacious and each bedroom comes with an en suite. Showers are big and powerful. Taking into consideration the load shedding/black out the chalet has a gas stove and two chargeable lights. The owner deserves special mention...Birgitte was very attentive and due to the storm earlier that week, the swimming pool was out of bounds. To make up for this inconvenience we received a bottle of white and red wine with free wine tasting and biltong platter the next day. The wine tasting session was very informative and the host very patiently answered all our questions.

These are just recommendations. The fridge was not working and a bit too small for the food we had. A new fit for the purpose fridge will make a difference. The WiFi is a hit and miss but I know this is something that the owner is working on. The couch is a bit hard especially the back rest. This may just be my own preference. Overall we were very satisfied with our time at Jacaranda estate.

Intermittent Wifi... No generator

Everything was so beautiful and Exactly what we were looking for. The pool area, the cottage we stayed in, the surrounding views were all absolutely beautiful.

I really can’t say anything bad about this experience or these hosts.

The simplicity and tranquillity. The hosts were great and accommodating. The house wine is amazing - definitely squeeze in a wine tasting if you can!
