This was without a doubt our favourite hotel on our trip. The room was comfortable, the balcony was great, the area was amazing, but the best bit was the staff and the family feel. We ate in their restaurant both nights because the food was excellent

The location was great.Our breakfast was wonderful (scrambled eggs and ham sandwiches)
The lunch was great but always crowded.We loved to eat outside on the big patio.

Friendly family run business. Host made us feel welcome. He brought us some ham and bread as a snack with the beer we ordered. My daughter mislaid the key fob (later found under a table in restaurant) and host very helpful with spare key.
We didn't get a room overlooking the river. It was a back room overlooking a messy back yard. Food choice in evening was poor. A bad quality steak or fish which was overpriced (more than double price of meat).

The location is great and close to a lot of attractions. We had dinner at Lima escape early in the evening with our little ones and breakfast at Braca early in the morning. We rented electric bike a few minutes away from the hotel too and found great swimming lakes close by too.
The hours of operations of the restaurant were a bit confusing so we couldn't rely on it for the kids meals and routine but found other great options nearby.
