Agriturismo Relais "il Bricco"

Lovely Location, huge pool, cute animals around, cozy common areas, clean bathroom

We booked the Nizza suite (two rooms with connecting door) a day before arrival and were really happy to find a place this spontaneously. The rooms are in the attic, almost no daylight in the rooms. garden furniture that was listed on the room description was missing. A lot of dead spiders ecc. behind curtains. One of the rooms had a disgusting sewage smell especially at night. Silverfishes and sewer flies (sign for clogged pipes) around and in the beds. The host argues that this is because of the countryside location. This argument is totally accurate for spiders ecc. but not for pests that indicate problems with pipes. The hosts offered an alternative for the affected room. (trying to convince us, that there is no such a smell, but going through the reviews this seems to be an ongoing issues sice at least 2023) We were then able to move into a wonderful, clean room, for which we were very grateful. All in all it would be a good idea to install mosquito nets infront of the windows, so airing out would be possible. We enjoyed our stay in the wonderful area of Nizza but would not chose the Bricco again, rather poor value for money. As noted in previous reviews; if it wasnt this pricey it would be okay. But we want to thank the hosts for offering a different room, at least to one part of the group.

This agriturismo provided it all with all meals, a beautiful swimming pool on a working farm in the beautiful Peidmonte region. Guise, her husband and her staff provided exceptional service with nothing too much trouble. Marco provided an excellent massage, which was booked in our room. Home cooked meals were superb.

The pool loungers require some maintenance.
