La Ferula Bed&Pool

Nunzio is a pleasant and non-intrusive host. We were welcomed with a basket of eggs from the house hens. The property is ideal for people looking for tranquility, in between fields. The nearest supermarket is a couple of km away in the town of Santeramo. The holiday home is well-positioned to reach Matera or Alberobello or Bari, but we managed also Lecce. There are two peaceful dogs at the property lying around and a nosy cat! The swimming pool is of decent size, and while we were using it it was even attended by a life-guard. It is, though, offered to a limited number of outside guests, but the beds are plentiful.

Those staying longer would benefit from a washing machine. The fridge is of a normal size, but it lacks the freezing compartment.

The owner was really nice

Everything was perfect, maybe they should put new towels.

Large well equipped apartment with really well equipped kitchenette - we had been travelling for 5 weeks so enjoyed buying local fresh ingredients and preparing own dinner after days out sightseeing. Comfortable and huge bedroom with plenty of room to spread out. Air conditioning wonderful. Visited Matera & Polignano Al Mare loved both. Found property using google maps. Pool fab - husband swims and enjoyed its size - great to come home & have a swim at end of the day - as noted this property is a little out of a town so having a car essential and we enjoyed it for its peacefulness and country scenery.

Very nice staff, in a quiet countryside. It was perfect for us. The big pool was nice too. And the parking is very easy.

Only the neighbor who worked loudly in the morning.
