The location in the alps, completely secluded, beautiful fresh air and emersion in nature is exactly what we were searching for! The couple who own la Maier were so welcoming and we enjoyed chatting with them. There is a beautiful house dog called Balou. The house is part of a small farm. We loved looking at the stars at night and eating meals on the shared terrace. Great location for visiting lago de braies and Kronplatz.

You need to be a competent driver on narrow and steep roads! We were!

Very nice and quiet place, very friendly personal, and we even could borrow the car to go to the town for dinner. And we got free welcome beer.
