Elimio is a very kind and friendly man. He raises pigs, chickens, and sheep. Here you can visit his vineyard and olive grove, and enjoy the hills and the sunset. My children and I love it here. Elimio and his wife have the best life I have ever seen. I will definitely come back if I have the chance.

Ao cruzar o portão daquela herdade, sentimo-nos como quem regressa a um lar perdido no tempo. O Sr. Emílio e a sua gentil esposa receberam-nos com uma hospitalidade tão calorosa que, por instantes, esquecemos que éramos hóspedes — éramos parte da família. Logo à chegada, brindou-nos com delicados aperitivos, acompanhados dos seus néctares vinhateiros, fruto de vinhas que guardam a memória de muitas estações e que, no copo, se revelam como pequenas joias líquidas. Os pequenos-almoços eram um capítulo à parte: iguarias confecionadas com tanto amor e ternura que pareciam resgatar aromas e sabores de um passado feliz, onde o tempo corria devagar e cada refeição era um momento de união. A acomodação, ampla e luminosa, oferecia conforto em cada recanto. No exterior, um verdadeiro paraíso para as crianças: parque infantil e uma pequena quintinha onde os animais esperavam curiosos pelos pequeninos visitantes. Para o Sr. Emílio e a sua estimada esposa, fica o nosso sincero desejo de que a saúde e a alegria os acompanhem sempre, para que possam continuar a expandir este sonho — um sonho que une, com rara harmonia, a tradição e os bons costumes italianos (e portugueses), celebrando a vida em família e a arte de bem receber. The hosts

Location and overall property did not meet expectations as advertised

Location, clean, comfortable, Emilio- the owner wonderful person.

The Wifi was free, There was no Air conditioning or fans but it remained pretty cool under the main house. The host are absolutely delightful but do not speak much English. My wife does so was not a problem. Would happily stay there again

Maybe have a small fan

- The hosts Emilio and Giselda were exceptionally warm and welcoming (even though we couldn't speak much Italian). As mentioned in another review, it was like being welcomed into their home as family. - The accommodation was in a great location for all our needs. - The rooms were big and the accommodation was well equipped. - Our son really enjoyed looking at the goats and chickens. - We were shown where they make their wine, as well as being allowed to taste the red, white and dessert wine. We even got a small bottle of wine to take back to the room.

That was the best stay ever. We have spent here 2 nights. A sweet couple Emilio and Giselda made it like staying at home. My sister in law had birthday and they gave us a bottle of home made red wine. Also showed the winery and we have visited goats and chickens in their farm. The view of the mountains is remarkable from the garden. The train passing by near was not disturbing us at all. We will for sure come back!
