This establishment felt more like a cult, that the same people return to each year, unusual place & people (except for the 3 couples from the UK, 1st times too).... as if we were in a scene from Nine perfect strangers! Beds are a huge part of your accommodation, a goodnight sleep is essential to enjoying your holiday, these were the hardest beds we stayed in, while on our 7 country trip. No where to put second suitcases except on the floor at the door. We enjoyed most of the food. We would have rated the food 10/10 with the except of one meal. That meal was gnocchi, the gnocchi itself was delicious.... the sauce however was slightly crunchy, thinking it may have been large pepper grinds I continued eating. I had noticed that the individual bake/pottery wear it had been served to me in, had a large chip in the side. Assuming that this establishment maybe thought this to be ok. Then I saw the large brownish terracotta chip sitting in my tomato based sauce. I immediately stopped eating, luckily I saw the large €10 sized jaggered chip, as it would have sliced the inside of my throat. When the head female kitchen staff came and collected my dish, I deferred her hand away from my dish and handed her the large chip piece of dish. She looked at me, nodded and continued collecting the dishes, not a another single word about it. I did not want to cause a fuss to the other guests at the table, but would have expected this matter to have been handled separately. To this day I assume the owners whom were at the table a few seats away, still have not been told about this matter. Unfortunately we did not find the staff to be very friendly at all, the owners Mr made a tiny effort, the Mrs owner does not speak English, did not introduce herself at any stage. It was an extraordinary unusual experience, one that we hope never to come across again. It felt very uncomfortable, nothing like a normal BNB.

Easy check in. Owners were very helpful and responsive. Made us feel at home right away. Super clean and comfortable. The food was incredible. loved the dogs.

The staff, meals and facilities were tremendous! the grounds were so beautiful. It is very well located to see so many different sights, just between 15 minutes to 2.5 hours away max by car and you can see most of Tuscany and even other areas of interest if desired. The only thing I would say is lacking for the price point is that the pool was uncomfortably cold. For the price point and advertising it with the pool, we all were hoping to have some enjoyable time swimming and relaxing by the pool. We didn’t take advantage of that due to the frigid water. Our week of staying was September 10-15 and it was very warm beautiful days. I can’t say enough good, and the many increase features of this property far outweighed our desire to relax by a pool! Just putting that in this review so people are aware! I seriously would totally recommend this beautiful paradise to Anyone! We hope to return!
