Bezalel Wine & Brandy Estate

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The complimentary wine & branding tasting was great! Very clean, quiet, safe, with easy access, and beautiful surroundings. We wanted a place to sleep over on our way back from holiday, and this worked well for our needs.

Small things could take this place from good to great - there was a large fridge and a kettle, but only one packet of instant coffee and no basin to wash up in, and only two mugs while we were three people. Only a three-quarter role of toiletpaper, the bath mat was stained (not dirty, just had a mark), the sliding door was a bit wonky, etc. Nothing major, just some small niggles - I would've been a bit more annoyed if I paid full price, but since we stayed there on a special offer, it was still worth the money.

Our family had a lovely stay in the farmhouse at Bezalel. We enjoyed the location and views over the Orange river valley. One could easily stay longer and have a braai on the nice stoep. The feshly baked lamb pie is to be recommended! Excellent value for a family of 5.

Staff were friendly. The house is very private with enough space to spread out.

Some areas in the house need some repairs ie locks and shower doors are broken. Bathrooms can do with something to put your clothes on and the spare room needs a mirror.

Camere pulite, personale accogliente, location carina. Wine testing interessante e apprezzato. Ristorante buono.

The property is relaxing and uncomplicated and so welcoming. We enjoyed the wine and brandy tasting and the food is delicious. Friendly staff 😄
