The place is very central to visit the colonial area. he rooms are big and the decoration is beautiful.

They are a bit dark but it seems is part of the old colonial buildings to keep the place cold.

I love the unique colonial design of the apartment, it adds a lot of character. The building interior looks exactly as advertised which is nice. It’s in the main tourist/ accessible area. The bed was comfortable and toilet/ shower clean.

Some amenities could be added such as a kettle, and the curtains are quite transparent if someone wanted to look through them. The lighting is quite dim

The place is beautiful and apartments are spacious and comfortable. Communication is superb and check in process very easy.

Dirty bed sheets , not TV available neither sofas. Not a/c on living room.

It was the best stay ever in Santo Domingo! (I moved to Fixie Lofts during my stay in Santo Domingo cause I didn’t like my first accommodation) The location couldn’t be better—in the center of the Colonial Zone. It was really clean, neat, cozy, and spacious. Check-in and check-out processes were really easy, and instructions were very clear. They have everything to cook in the kitchen. The bed was spacious and super comfortable. I would love to stay in Fixie Lofts again when I return to Santo Domingo!

Location, decoration, comfort! Responsiveness of the hosts. Good value for money. Has a good setup with a small kitchen, small desk to work if needed and good wifi connection!

We booked a "garden view" room, thinking it is on the higher floor (as there were "ground floor" rooms) and we were given the room in the ground floor and were asked to pay more if wanted to be up there. Maybe garden view means ground floor too but it should be specified in the description. Anyways we loved our stay!

Incredible loft, sure it is the best place to stay in Santo Domingo! Close to the main attractions in zona colonial, and the room is beautiful and comfortable.

It is a charming loft that perfectly captures the elegance of a bygone era. The building has intricate architectural details that tell stories of its rich past. However, despite the undeniable charm, our stay was marred by the noise from the surrounding area. Unfortunately, the neighborhood can be quite lively, and during our visit, we encountered a significant disturbance. A neighbor two doors down blasted loud music from midnight until 8 a.m., which made it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep. While the hotel itself is lovely, the noise issue detracted from what could have been a perfect stay. If you're a light sleeper or looking for a quiet retreat, it might be worth checking whether the area is likely to be noisy during your visit. That said, if you can handle a bit of commotion, then it is a fantastic place to soak in some history and charm.
