We had a fantastic view over the lasithi plateau, rooms were very clean, modern and spatious. The owners are such sweet people, we truly felt welcome and had such nice chats. The same owners also run the adjacent taverna with good food, a great view and splendid breakfast in the morning. We didn’t have a car and as there is no supermarket in the village, the owner provided us with a packed lunch to take on our hike in the mountains. A lot of people visit the nearby Dikti cave, but when the cave closes in the afternoon, the village becomes quiet and these apartments are a true gem in the mountains.

The room was spacious, very clean and quiet. It is located at the entrance to the cave and overlooks the plateau. What made this place stand out was the graciousness and pleasantness of the owners who went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

We loved this place! The owners are super friendly and helpful. They kept the restaurant open at dinner just for us! It is the perfect place to spend the night if you want to visit the Cave of Diktaion Andron early in the morning when there's no people around.

The rooms are clean and comfortable with unbeatable views across the valley. You can cook in the kitchenette if you like, but I don't know why anyone would want to with the fantastic meals just upstairs in the restaurant. Manuela and her family were incredibly hospitable and did a great job making us feel welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The area is very busy and parking before 3:00 pm can be challenging.

Very nice hosts which invited me to coffee and cake in their tavern (with a great view) and even had a little present for me. The studio ist modern and very nice. Internet was good, the view great, showers very well. The location is actually a big advantage which I didnt see before: The Zeus cave is very empty before 10am. Then many tourists start to pour in. So it is very easy to just check out and walk 10min into the cave and have it for yourself.

The owner are very friendly and the place very quite in the night. The view over the valley is gorgeous.

The location and the room were much better than we were expecting. The bathroom was clean and big, well planned. The whole apartment was clean and smartly planned. The apartment did not have an AC but as it was high in the mountains the room did not even need it, it was even cold in the very early morning. The room had a great view of the valley and mountains. Well-equipped room with modern equipment (laundry and dryer machine, oven, fridge, and a lot of kitchen utensils). The fireplace was a pleasant surprise even though we did not have the time to use it. Great place to take your family for a holiday.

We arrived after the sun had set and it was dark. There could be a sign with a light that would read where the actual check-in location is as we got a little lost in the parking lot. A lot of tourists visit the area during day time to see the caves and the mountains. But othertimes it is quiet.
