Naxos Mare

We loved the rooms and the view so much, the staff were so friendly and accommodating and generous, they gave us cake and provided information as well as a lift to Plaka. We couldn't have been more happy.

Family run hotel, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean, towels and bed linen changed frequently. The shower was powerful, and the water was always hot. Short walk to the beach, bars and restaurants. I would return to the Naxos Mare.

The location was close enough for groceries, restaurant and the beach.

We got a lower unit and we didnt have a view or much natural light other than front door.

This property is exceptional, there is no way it is only classed as 3 star! The grounds, facilities, and rooms were all stunning, the pool was magical and it was an easy short walk to the beach and many restaurants. Sophia and her team were the highlight, they are the most welcoming, hospitable, kind and caring people, always a smile, always a yes. Fantastic bar menu of cocktails and food, all cooked fresh and delivered poolside at great prices to boot. We travel yearly and are a family of 8, teens through to couples and parents - this accommodation worked for each of us, just book it, you will not regret it!

The pool area is stunning ( especially at sunset) , wonderfully maintained and the bar area run by the staff is brilliant. The food is all local and cooked fresh and is gorgeous/ great value . The breakfast tray changes each day which offers even more great variety. The staff are absolutely brilliant , it’s a small family run place that really clearly loves what they do and dedicate themselves to their customers. Full of advice for the island, help with anything you could need and just so attentive. This hotel was a wonderful mix of relaxed and playful with a great mix of guests ( including furry friends 🐶) The location is brilliant, you are about a 5/10 min walk from the main road/ restaurants/ bus stop. For 2 euros ( buy tickets in the supermarket ) you can travel the island on buses that come every 30mins. The beaches including Maragas, Plakka and Agia Anna are stunningly clean and the water looked like a screensaver. The hotel room is cleaned very frequently and the balconies give a brilliant view of the sea and sunset if you don’t want to enjoy it by the pool. The rooms have everything you could need, including a fridge and kitchenette should you wish to cook food for yourself ( but the local taverns and pool food are so wonderful and cheap you’d really be missing out!) The pictures of the rooms don’t do them justice. The decor is clean, traditional in terms of colours and tiling rather than opting for modern that may look more expensive. It really is a family experience that you’re going to love. Naxos was a beautiful island that we loved exploring, but this hotel and our time here made our holiday unforgettable. We’d come and stay here again in a heart beat

We had an amazing stay at Naxos Mare. The location is perfect, just a short walk (~10 minutes) from the beautiful Agia Anna beach, bus stop and local shops. The apartment itself was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Sofia, the host, and her family provided exceptional service, taking care of every little detail and ensuring we had everything we needed. They made us feel truly at home, offering cleaning services every second day, delicious meals, and a perfect breakfast. They also picked us up and took us to Naxos Port for a reasonable price. They were incredibly patient and kind with my father, who cannot speak English, thanks again for your kindness! The view from the balcony was stunning, and it was a perfect spot to enjoy our morning coffee. The pool area was well-maintained, offering a great place to relax after a day of exploring.

The only downside was that some of the other guests were occasionally quite loud, but this did not significantly detract from our overall experience.

The staff were very friendly. The pool was wonderful.
