Vaznik Farm House Apartments

Lovely owner, very nice guy with nice houses and animals. Clean, well equipped apartment, beautiful view.

There is no heating during the summer but it was veryyy cold that night. I was worried about our babies. But everything turned out great. Also my husband is super allergic to cats and we assume that some cats might enter the apartment when cleaning. Be aware of this if you have a similar condition.

Wir wurden vom Vermieter extrem freundlich nach einer langen und anstrengenden Autofahrt begrüßt. Zur Begrüßung wurde uns ein Getränk angeboten. Die Lage ist schon sehr abgelegen auf dem Berg und ruhig. Aber für uns war es genau das Richtige. Der Ausblick ist super. Unsere Tochter war von den vielen Tieren dort begeistert. Wir waren als Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg nach Kroatien hier. Dafür war es mehr als ausreichend.

Our family stayed at Vaznik Farmhouse for 2 days, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of our trip. We originally booked it because we thought the farm animals would keep the kids entertained for a few hours each day — but what we didn’t expect was to experience a true fairytale-like farm life in the middle of the forest. After arriving, we immediately went grocery shopping because we already knew we wouldn’t want to leave the farm the next day at all. And we were right. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and authentic, surrounded by nature and forest, yet only about 10 minutes from Bled. The kids absolutely loved spending time with the animals — feeding rabbits, chickens, turkeys and ducks, petting the horses, and watching the cows and goats. We took walks through the forest and discovered a little treehouse hidden on the property, which felt magical. There were also toy excavators and tractors, which were a lifesaver with a toddler, and our son even got the chance to see and touch a real excavator up close. The owner, Peter, was incredibly kind and welcoming. We also had the opportunity to buy homemade eggs and delicious homemade dry sausage from him, which made the whole experience feel even more authentic and special. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed, the accommodation was clean and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed having meals outside in the yard. If you want your children to experience real countryside life, surrounded by nature and forest, far from the noise and crowds, this place is absolutely worth visiting. Just make sure to buy groceries before arriving — once you get there, you truly won’t feel like leaving.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this apartment. Peter welcomed us warmly and was incredibly helpful throughout our visit, always making sure we had everything we needed. The house is located on a mountain peak with breathtaking views, creating a truly special and peaceful atmosphere. There is also a small farm with animals, which our children absolutely loved – it made the experience even more unique and memorable. We truly appreciated Peter and his family’s hospitality. They even arranged an extra bed for our child on very short notice, which meant a lot to us. This was a unique and amazing experience, and we highly recommend staying here.
