Fernhill Guest Farm

Abbiamo preso un cottage davvero accogliente con cucina, caminetto... abbiamo ordinato burro, panna e gelato fatti da loro, munto le mucche e dato il biberon al loro maiale nano Pumba, e tenuti in braccio coniglietti. Un'esperienza meravigliosa e indimenticabile per noi e i nostri bimbi

On a été très bien accueilli. Le cottage est confortable dans un super cadre. Les enfants ont adoré pouvoir s’occuper des animaux et les jeux de société à l’intérieur du cottage.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The views from the cottage are stunning. The cottage is charming with the farm kitchen and indoor fireplace. We bought wood at R30 a bag.

The bathroom had a lot of mold. Two heaters, including the bathroom heater, did not work. There were very few cutlery, e.g only two teaspoons and no large plates, only small plates. The cottage could do with an upgrade/renovation.

Because the place is about 12km out of town, they have this little basket of goods that you might want (waters, cokes, chips etc) as well as wood, charcoal and firefighters that you can then purchase from them through an honesty box system... but its so thoughtful and sweet. Also, yummy brownies and beautiful flowers to greet you when you arrive.
