10/10 this place was incredible! The staff was so friendly and helpful, the room was clean and had a beautiful view, and the wine tasting was super fun. I wish we stayed here longer. In the morning, they were very accommodating to make us an early breakfast as we had to leave early. The breakfast was a delicious spread of eggs, cheese, fruit, yogurt, bread, and meat. It was everything you could want and it was included! Everyone was friendly and helpful. I also highly recommend doing a wine tasting. We tried about 5 wines, got a tour of the cellar, and met other friendly travelers. You will love this place!

Both the property and the staff were amazing. The common areas and the rooms are renovated but still charming. The entire place was exceptionally clean; the wine tasting was informative and delicious; breakfast was thoughtful and yummy. But the best part of our stay was how warm and welcoming the staff was! Winery Zorz was definitely the best stay we had while in Slovenia— highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Žorž. The location is truly unique – a peaceful wine-making village that feels authentic and full of charm. It was such a refreshing change of pace and a perfect way to experience a different side of Slovenia. One of the highlights was the wine tasting offered by the hosts – not only were the wines excellent, but the whole experience was warm, fun, and memorable. The breakfast was also very enjoyable, with fresh and tasty options to start the day right. The combination of comfort, atmosphere, and hospitality made the stay special. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something authentic and relaxing away from the usual tourist spots.

Nice, neat room in a beautifully located winery. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We booked the wine tasting and it was amazing! Nice wines and plenty of food with a good story. Breakfast was plentiful, we were spoiled.

Not a criticism, but a heads up; the town of Slap has very little else to offer (except peace, quiet, and beautiful views) especially on a Sunday, so a car or bike is necessary to get to Vipava for food or entertainment.
