Amazing Hotel, great views from the balcony and really good breakfast!

The view was very nice. Location was good as well. The breakfast was of great quality - you could pick an item from the menu the previous evening and had juice and very good quality coffee with it, we really enjoyed the breakfasts. If I'm being quite honest, it did bother me when I saw a table next to us order like 5 breakfast items just for the two of them. Me and my husband always ordered one each, and he is a big dude, 2 meters tall - if it's enough for him, it's probably enough for you. I wish they would just let everyone order one meal from the menu. It seems so wasteful to order many meals between a couple. But that is just my opinion, it's not like they're doing anything wrong. The service was great - everyone was friendly and professional and solved problems quickly and seamlessly. If only the guy on the first night would have known how to turn on heating and know where the dehumidifiers are - would have saved us a lot of grief.

The balcony had a beautiful view but little privacy. When our neighbours were sitting outside it was extremely awkward to sit there so we didn't enjoy the balcony fully. They were literally so close we could reach out and poke them if we wanted and there was nothing between us really, just a wall that reaches your knee in height. In our second place in Oia there was a privacy wall and that was much preferred. The bed was a bit uncomfortable, it was two small mattresses pushed together. I understand many hotels do that but this is not what I would expect from a premium level hotel like this. At least a mattress topper for a couple would be nice. Our beds started drifting apart quite quickly. First evening we arrived, it was around 10 pm or so, our room was very cold and humid. The AC had no heating function turned on (we later learned you have to turn it on specifically and they did it second day). Our sheets were moist from humidity and it was a very uncomfortable first night of sleep in the cold and damp sheets. We did call the reception and ask for a dehumidifier at least, but he said he doesn't know and he will look into it. We had to sleep in our clothes. Again, I expect better from a hotel this price range. They mentioned the weather is changing - BUT it is a place where weather changes - they should teach their receptionists to turn on the heating and let them know where the dehumidifiers are. Second day the did rectify the situation - brought us a dehumidifier and turned on the heating mode on the AC. And I do appreciate that. Room was quite small, bathroom even smaller and would have used some refreshing - grouting etc. I would probably be more flexible, but we went to Oia after, stayed in a cheaper room, twice the size (probably 5x the size when it comes to bathroom), private balcony, great view and my expectations changed. This is mostly constructive criticism and things they could easily fix for the future so I hope it's helpful.

Sind mit dem Bus vom Flughafen für 2 Euro hingefahren. Über die Unterkunft wären es 60 Euro für 2 gewesen.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, with unparalleled views of the Caldera. The studio was clean, comfortable and modern and the balcony provided the best possible vantage point for a sunset over Fira. The staff were also incredibly attentive and friendly.

Location is good.On main street.Breakfast is nice!We are appreciative of the porters to carry our luggages to the hotel upon arrival .The room view is great!

Upon checking out at 6am to catch morning flight, the receptionist asked us to pay Euro$10 for a coke which we didnt consume. We paid because we are rushing to the airport and hence didnt have time to hussle with him..not that we are guilty. It is not the money but we felt he has accused us for something we didn’t do. He has some altitude issues. A feedback to you.Why would we dont pay for a Euro$10 coke where we could afford to pay for a villa for 3 persons…
