Casa do Cedro de Medelim

Amazing building full of family history and beautiful restored. Ana, the host, was very helpful and friendly. The pool was a plus with a wonderful view. An experience to repeat.

Amazing location and view with great pool

The property is a renovated old mansion and is tastefully decorated and furnished with homage to the past, it is very clean and spacious. The room overlooking the garden and gorgeous infinity pool is tranquil, the bed is big and comfortable and the water pressure in the large shower is good. The wifi is good for streaming and the tv has English channels. The hostess, Anna, is charming, kind and generous with her time. The breakfast is made to your liking and is bountiful. We would definitely stay again if we found ourselves in this pretty pocket of the world again. Can also recommend the Old School restaurant which is a 3 min walk and has amazing food for lunch and dinner.

This is a BEAUTIFUL place to stay. More house than hotel! It appears to be totally renovated and the decor is gorgeous. The view of the pool and the mountains in the distance were wonderful. Our room was spacious and the shower was fabulous. It is located in a very small town with just two restaurants, neither of which were open, so we went to a quaint market within walking distance for cheese, wine, etc. Everything was great. Monsanto was a quick drive away.

Beautiful house with excellent facilities (shower, bedding, grounds, amazing breakfast, free parking, etc.) and spotlessly clean. Ana is very kind and a wonderful hostess-everything for breakfast is homemade and delicious.
