DEIt was a getaway in the nature and in a farm. The host family is very kind. We enjoyed the food, full of original flavor a lot.

USBeautiful property run by a hardworking woman and her family. Breathtaking views, excellent recreation area. Very clean.
Perhaps because we were American, we did not feel very welcome by the host, anytime we needed something like a beer with dinner or to ask a question she was hard to find and seemed too busy to bother her.
SIDEThe bed mattress was very comfortable and the view was fantastic. The hosts were very friendly. The host was so kind to offer cooking lunch for us when we arrived.

WiFi can be a bit limited at times. That might be a good thing if you want to get away.
NLVery friendly people. Super views of the Matkov Kot valley. Excellent for exploring Logarska Dolina. Good beds, clean, quiet. Good meals (and my gluten and dairy free diet was no problem). Logarska Dolina and Matkov Kot are a hiker and biker paradise and this farm is an excellent base for exploring it. I would stay here again.
Not really a negative point, because you get great views in return, but it is a bit higher in the valley on a (good quality) gravel road. So I would recommend having a car (don't need 4 wheel drive, any car can ride it) or gravel bike/MTB to explore Logarska Dolina.
SIAmazingly delicious meals. Homemade goat cheese, yoghurts and ice cream. Very kind hosts and the staff. Exceptional view! Great place for hikes and rest. Looking forward to return on another occasion!

DKKmetija Matk is an amazing and very authentic old farm with beautiful views, great food and lovely and helpful staff. We loved our stay there and explored the hiking trails in the maintain area. Really worth a visit!
