Casa do Pico Arde

The blue apartment is truly amazing, very nice space. The location is very nice, close to the highway and the centre of Ribeira Grande, but on the same time very peaceful. The hosts have been very polite and friendly, I wish every apartment/hotel had been managed by such people. Definitely recommend it to everyone.

The apartment is beautiful and has all the ameneties we needed. Lovely welcome basket and they also dropped some cake over to us the night before we left. Really near to Lagoa de Fogo, Caldera Velha, Cascatas and Ribeira Grande. Didn't use the pool as it was too cold but would be lovely in the summer. Place was really big and we could cook a few meals. Perfect stay!

Very close to town (walking distance actually), yet feels rural and private. Loved that this was an historic home still owned and operated by the family.

Nice two story apartment, very well decorated. The owner was very helpful and allowed us to use the grill. Kitchen was a little akward being hidden behind the cabinets.

No mosquito nets so you have to keep the windows closed, which was a big drawback for us :(

Central location and feels like a home. There is lots of equipment and tools so that you will not miss something.

Sleeping couch has passed its lifetime and is not really comfortable anymore -> should be renewed

We had an awesome time in the Casa do Pico Arde. The location is great and the host provided us with a welcoming basket, self-made cake and a bottle of wine one day. It was clean, the pool is a nice add-on and for us nothing was missing. We definitely want to stay there again one day!
