Hôtel Particulier des Lumières

Accueil parfait, chambre avec tout le confort nécessaire, une vue sublime et une situation géographique plus que parfaite , je recommande vivement cet établissement et j'y retournerai avec grand plaisir.

Total schwierige Parksituation und keinerlei Hilfe durch das Personal

Herzlicher Empfang durch die Gastgeberin. Das Appartement in einem alten Gebäude hat Stil, dazu passende Möbel. Eine Klimaanlage oder ein Klimagerät ist wünschenswert bei den heißen Sommertemperaturen. Sehr gute Lage, parken ist an den öffentlichen Plätzen möglich.

Appartamenti d’epoca, spazioso e comodo, ben attrezzato. Al piano di sotto un bellissimo ristorante gestito dal figlio della proprietaria, atmosfera e panorama speciale, servizio eccellente e per la qualità del menu… da non perdere

A charming apartment hotel situated pretty much in downtown Moustiers-Sainte-Marie. I see some reviews of people complaining about missing air condition. We were in Moustiers at late July where the average temperature was 28 degrees. If you open the windows on both sides of the apartment you will feel a strong wind, probably due to its close proximity to a mountain that creates a lot of downwind towards the city. We didn't miss an air condition, the fan was more than enough. The shower was equipped with a big shower head which was nice. The view on one side is amazing, you can see very far, basically to the next mountain chain.

So there is a restaurant right below the hotel so if you can't stand the smell of grill and fried food then this may not be the one for you; we could smell it as late 10-11pm. As mentioned above there is no air condition so to keep the rooms cool the windows need to be open. One room was situated further away from the kitchen which helped a bit. The city is small so parking can be a challenge. We were lucky to be able to leave the car about less than 10 minutes away from the hotel. This is naturally not the hotel's fault but try not to arrive too late to the city.
