Very clean accommodation, easy to check in and out. Very central

Wifi was very sporadic

It is right there in the heart of York. If you want to walk the city walls they are literally at your doorstep. All the shops and eateries are within walking distance. The man at reception was so kind and helpful. He even let us check in a little early. We only stayed over night, but wish we could have stayed longer. Great views from the 3rd story windows.

It is three stories, so if you have problems with walking or climbing stairs this is not the place for you. Also as stated as a positive can also be a negative being in the heart of the city. It is a working city, so when the bar across the street is unloading at 5:30am banging and making noise and wakes you, you might not be to happy like my daughter. My daughter also had to sleep on the sofa bed, it was not comfortable.

it was our 28th wedding anniversary and the apartment was beautiful. very clean and comfortable. really good location.good value for money.we would love to stay here again. the staff went above and beyond 8help us .

On entering the shower room smell, could improve by switching on before a visit and the bedroom windows didn’t stay open on position.

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt I had to for this stay. We were absolutely blown away by the kindness and service we received. The owner’s wife gave us a lovely tour on the way to our apartment, and they kindly stored our luggage when we arrived early and even brought it to us later. The apartment was beautiful, spotless, and every detail was perfect, right down to the neatly stacked extra linens. This was one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed, and we’re already planning to come back in February. Highly recommend!

We loved everything!

Overall house is good, one bedroom one bathroom. Very clean, small kitchen available but with sufficient amenities like toaster, microwave, oven, stove.

Sofa bed a bit uncomfortable as mattress is thin and bed frame is creaky. No parking within compound, needed to park in public carpark 2mins away and pay their public charge.

Myself and my family stayed one night in the Viking Quarters whilst we visited York. All communication with Goodramgate was excellent and all information and instructions were sent prior to our stay. The location is perfect with parking a short walk away at Monk Bar. The accommodation was incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean. We've had a wonderful stay and would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend.
