Crabbers' Wharf

Brilliant location, and felt much bigger than the pictures suggested! Facilities were all exemplary, and the check-in/out procedures easy. Comfortable bed, handy reserved parking, and great views over the water.

The overall cleanliness was good, but the deck needed a real deep clean. We can understand a few deposits from Seagulls, but there were still bits of food under the table from previous occupants which was quite off-putting.

The location, views across the water

The noise from the helicopter training facility across the water. Helicopters manoeuvring until well after midnight from 17.00 when we arrived in a Friday. No noise on Sat or Sun. We were disappointed when trying to find places to eat dinner on Portland, a lot of the pubs look run down and uninviting. The area surrounding the property has a lot of empty derelict buildings . Crabbers wharf itself was very nice great accommodation to celebrate a special occasion with family Or friends.

Great view over the water and was lovely to sit on the wee deck .. when the wind let us!. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Chairs around table need re padding. They were uncomfortable to sit in. Night helicopter and port generators were a bit annoying sometimes.The light outside the door kept going on all the time, so think the sensor needs adjusting? No mattress protector and would have liked a fitted sheet. Would be good if there was a proper speaker for the tv or upgrade to a modern TV so we could Bluetooth a speaker.

My partner and I stayed in July 2024, we loved it so much with brought our kids back. Free use of kayaks and paddle boards and easy access to fish and do crabbing. We absolutely loved our stay and the apartment had everything we needed! Thank you so much, we will definitely book again!

Our apartment was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The view from the balcony was great. The kitchen was well equipped.

Sometimes a lot of noise from the adjacent wharf and the helicopter from the next door trainingcentre which was flying back and forth
