Brilliant views and facilities

Would have been useful to know there were stairs up to the first level as we were booking for relatives with reduced mobility.

The property and view were perfect and close to bus open top bus so easy to go to lighthouse and weymouth. The castle is also in sight.

This is a 'marmite' place.... either you will love it or hate it. Basically you are staying in the middle of a boatyard, next to a helicopter training school all within a big port. The surroundings are industrial. But we really liked it, something a bit different. Nice apartment.

Crockery really needs replacing. Mattress too firm.

The big sliding glass door looking right out on the water which was 15 ft away was pretty slick. Our parking spot was literally like 40ft from the entrance.

All was good.

Historic setting and wonderful view. Visited the D-Day Museum and Portland Castle.

The property would benefit being fitted with a dishwasher. I don’t know if it is house keeping or previous guests, but everything I got out of the cupboards was filthy. The saucepans and ovenware were all scratched and damaged which poses a health risk. We didn’t sleep much on the first night as the outside lights were on permanently, they would dim and then go brighter all night. It was like sleeping in the daytime. We put a blanket over the blinds the second night and it was marginally better. Very small bathroom. Late check in and early check out doesn’t offer very good value for money. Saying that, I asked for an earlier check in and this was approved, however we didn’t receive the message via booking.com until we were on our way and it was too late. I will post pictures of all the dirty kitchen ware and other issues when I return home. For the price it needs better kitchen items and nicer toiletries.
