Kano Canggu Loft

Unfortunately, our stay did not live up to expectations. When we arrived, there was a very large gecko in the ceiling above our bed, and during the night it defecated on both us and our belongings. In addition to this, there were insects and several lizards throughout the villa, which made the room feel unhygienic and very uncomfortable. When we first contacted reception, we were told that this was “normal because the villa is in nature,” and initially we were not offered another room. Only after insisting multiple times were we moved to a different room. What was most disappointing was that at check-out we were informed that this is a known issue in the villa and that animals are frequently present. This was never disclosed before booking. I do appreciate that the manager eventually helped us move rooms, but the overall experience was still far below what we expected, especially considering that this was apparently an ongoing problem. After I began leaving reviews, I was also contacted privately by the manager asking me to reconsider because of the impact it could have on his job. While I understand his position, I believe it is important for future guests to know about our experience. I always try to leave fair and honest reviews, and unfortunately this stay was deeply disappointing.

Het zwembad is erg fijn! Ook het verblijf zelf is ruim, schoon en op een perfecte ligging. Midden in t centrum maar wel op een rustige plek.

Lite för hård säng för min smak men annars var allt bra

The villa was new and clean and tastefully decorated, just like the photos. The staff were exceptional super helpful and friendly. The kitchen had everything we needed. We stayed there for two weeks, and it felt like home =)
