Good location and nice rooms! Helpful staff! Very delicious breakfast!

At first entering the room cleaning odour was not pleasant.

Tenuta Lagala is perfectly situated just outside the marvellous little town of Venosa (literally a 2 minute drive) and offers a relaxing, elegant stay set amongst the beautiful nature of Basilicata - a region that deserves more and more of everyone’s attention! Our room was very cute and comfortable and we ate so, so well both for lunch and at breakfast. Of course what really makes this place so special is the incredible artisanal wine production they do. From their beautiful vines they produce a series of quite simply world class wines that should be tasted and discovered by all wine lovers! What tops it all off is that the owners are very kind, genuine and informative and they have a created the perfect place to escape to for a few days in the Southern Italian countryside. We can’t wait to return!

Warm welcome, excellent food. Comfortable bed. Quiet! Beautiful surroundings. Great wine oil and pasta made on the premises.

A few small items seemed overlooked in the room cleaning. Toothbrush cup and some corners in the room. That said, the rest was spotless.

Lovely staff, helpful and considerate after I tripped on step, and generous with coffee on arrival. Beautiful restaurant, and setting in the vineyard. The dinner and breakfast were one of the best we ate in Italy.

The courtyard outside the room is ok but could do with a little more attention to make it more inviting. I am aware this is a working vineyard and possibly not a priority.

The reception is lovely with a glass of homemade wine. The dinner and breakfast was one of the best we had in Italy. Same for the wine. Rooms are nice, spacey and tidy. We had rain so couldn't use the pool.

5 stars for this fantastic winery stay! The ownders were incredibly kind and fun, the food was exceptional, the wine even better! I loved talking with the owners, the room and facilities were beautifully done and very clean. I wish I could have stayed longer. Parking is available, the pool area is lovely and very relaxing, the breakfast which is included in your stay is so delicious and there is nothing better than a glass of wine looking over the vines that produced them! Loved this accommodation!

Lovely place, great views from the restaurant onto the vineyards. Nice, fresh breakfast. The hosts were attentive and lovely. Very warmly recommended!

Had everything we needed - spacious room and bathroom (albeit basic), beautiful pool and dining area and easy parking. Could walk into town easily.
