"Pleasant"

The garden is beautiful and the house is historical- a real old world gem. The staff was friendly and helpful.

It was extremely hot and there was no aircons in the rooms or dining area. There was also no fridges or coffee stations in the rooms which was a bit inconvenient. Apart from that, the stay was enjoyable.

"A perfect stopover"

A wonderful stopover in the Karoo en route from Cape Town to Kimberley. The olde world charm is to be appreciated throughout the hotel, with lovely garden and walks up the nearby hill and along the road. We enjoyed a short self-drive game drive and saw many antelope. The meals are superb. Highly recommended.
