We spent two weeks exploring Portugal, and this was by far the best place we stayed. The room was beautiful and had a stunning view. The estate is very large, perfect for long walks. There was private parking for the car, and the directions we were given were excellent. It was a peaceful stay where we could truly relax and also visit some local wine cellars. The Port wine from the estate, which was left as a gift in the room, was delicious. Thank you, Carla and Marcelo! We will always remember your care and hospitality.

Melhor maneira de começar o ano! Passamos aqui os primeiros dias de 2026 e foi incrivel. Ótima localização, quartos modernos, pessoas muito simpáticas e um café da manhã excelente. Com certeza vamos querer voltar no verão para aproveitar as piscinas.

Excellent property with very friendly hosts - its the best way to describe Quinta das Susandas. Very well located, near all the facilities and with a large parking space to the car. Very comfy beds, large rooms and delicious breakfast. We also dinner in the property and we enjoyed all the food.

Nothing! Even the relations price/quality is perfect. I will recommend this hotel to my friends. Next time I will bring my daughter, definitely she will enjoy

Fiquei hospitalizado, tentei mudar minha hospedagem, hotel não me atendeu, não respondeu meus e-mails. Falta atendimento, gentileza, empatia.

Very well located, with restaurants and other commodities very near by car. We arrived a little bit later (after check-in time) and staff received us with a smile on their face - thank you, you were really professional during our entire stay. Large room, with all the essential things like shampoo, new towels, mini bar, etc. Breakfast is really delicious!

Nothing!! Our stay was perfect, even in the autumn / winter. Cheers to this amazing team.

Foi uma estadia maravilhosa a que eu e meu marido tivemos. A equipe é super atenciosa, simpática e realmente faz você se sentir em casa. O quarto era espaçoso e muito confortável. O café da manhã merece destaque. Muito variedade, tudo fresquinho e com produtos locais deliciosos. Outro ponto que adorei foi a tranquilidade. Mesmo tendo mais hospedes, o hotel tem um clima acolhedor, com uma vista deslumbrante, perfeito para relaxar.

Choveu em um dos dias, o que atrapalhou a nossa visita à região do Douro. Mas no fim de contas, até isso criou um clima gostoso para relaxar no hotel bem junto à lareira. De qualquer forma, percebi que da próxima vez preciso reservar mais dias para aproveitar tudo com calma

We really recommend Quinta das Susandas. Amazing hospitality, breakfast like a 5 stars hotel, with local products. Very peaceful property. Rooms extremely comfortable, with large balcony and a view through the mountains Perfect stay in Douro valley
