"Close to Catania but not too close."

Lovely setting with a nice pool and breakfast room. Very hospitable host who recommended a taxi to take us into Catania, 50 Euros return as no way was I going to drive there! Friendly dogs to pet over the fence. The place is a working orange orchard so puts the agri in agriturisimo. (We've stayed at others that are more like resorts that used to be a farm)

The pool has restricted hours during the day, wasn't an issue for us as we were out exploring during the closed time. We stayed and paid for three breakfasts but as we had an early tour and the next day a very early flight so only actually had the one breakfast, which was very good. Perhaps we could have been more forthright with requesting a to go package we could have put in the fridge for the next day.

Perfect location and kids loved the pool. Host was very nice and helpfull and had great tips for us to do in the area.

Agriturismo Ruvitello has always met our requirement, rooms tidy, pool area always kept clean. And very near to catania shopping malls, etnaland,etc
