Holt Hill Foreststay, Plettenbergbay

It was comfortable and the ginger cat was a darling. It was very entertaining watching the owner climbing out of the windows to get out of the locked door..😃

We got stuck inside as we couldn't open the front door as the handle was missing (broken). The WiFi didn't work but was fixed soon enough and the outside light never got fixed.

We enjoyed the manner in which our host received us and all accommodation communication beforehand. We enjoyed the location and the setting of the accommodation. The facility was very clean.

Upon arrival, we were escorted to a different room than we booked and were only told then and there. We wanted more privacy and the room were we allocated to was not as private. It also only had a bath and no shower. The bed was unfortunately also not very comfortable. We were misguided by the photographs and previous reviews

The farm atmosphere

The room next door guests. Swearing and screaming the whole night Owner/manager came to talk once, without any success, but they kept on staying

We really enjoyed the warm welcome and the cozy atmosphere that the host creates in this wonderful domain. We received a complimentary room upgrade and had a very large and cosy room with a beautiful terrace. We enjoyed the company of the kitty and the peacocks in the morning.

Neels de gastheer is super vriendelijk en gastvrij, zijn creaties die hij in jaren opgebouwd heeft zijn super gaaf. De pauwen die vrij rond loen, de mooie natuur, wij voelden ons hier zeer welkom en thuis. Dank je wel.

Quiet. Living in a buzzing city, makes all the piece and quiet experienced here, valuable and much appreciated. Even Ginger took a nap close by and is so lovable.
