The compact nicely decorated little apartment. Very cozy

It alarms us that we were asked to fill out a form for city tax (3€/person) and not get a receipt + getting the same message via booking.com So heads up for others; take a photo of the filled out form, before handing it back to the staff.

location is perfect, the apartment was big and well furnished.

Everything was great: the accommodation, the cleanliness and the location. It's a very good place to stop by when you have to travel from one city to another. But Wernigerode is a special city. Over here one's should stay for a longer time than just one night.

Would have been a nice location had our reservation been honored.

We did not have opportunity stay in a room because the hotel did not honor booking.com and said there were no rooms and to go talk to booking.com. They were rude to us, shouted at us, and they refused to give any refund and said booking.com has our money. We also showed our booking confirmation information. They basically said it’s our problem, not theirs.

You can’t beat he location - the property is footsteps away from anywhere you want to be (in town). The castle is about a 30 min walk - wasn’t as bad as I was thinking. The property managers are very nice and informative. Check in was a breeze. This hotel was a great value! The family and I are very happy.

Furniture is outdated - this is the only reason for giving 8/10 instead of 10/10. The furniture is clean and well maintained, so don’t let it sway your decision away from booking.
