"Beautiful retreat on a beautiful island!!"

This was a very relaxing and wonderful place. Short walk to several restaurants and bars along the ocean. It was exactly what we were looking for. A quiet, non-touristy retreat in the peak of July tourist season. Most of the time we had the entire pool yo ourselves. We recommend renting a car from them as well. Nick picked us up at the airport and dropped us off at the ferry port, so the transfers were very smooth. We loved our stay with them!

perfect location. An easy walk down to the town. The owners are so friendly.

Nothing really, stairs up to the bedroom are very steep, wouldn’t be any good if you had any mobility issues.

"Really big let down, wasted our money and learned the hard way"

I’m sad because we didn’t like anything

We were saddened by the quality of everything. The room had spider nests in the ceiling corners and we had to kill quite a few because they were jumpers and we couldnt release them outside. They were also MASSIVE and we couldn’t sleep with them. The bed mattress was a box spring and not mattress… I don’t know this 100% but it was so hard it was like sleeping on a wooden board. We got no sleep. There was dirt in the floor corners as though it wasn’t cleaned properly after the last guests. The pillow had a large yellow stain on it and the bathroom reminded me of a jail cell. The owners are probably lovely and it pained us to leave but we had to check out two days early and go to another hotel. If you are expecting to rough it maybe this place will be ok but for us coming for a nice vacation the first time in Syros I suggest staying at a more commercialized hotel in the city.
