Kallos of Mykonos

Gorgeous property. The location is perfect for getting around town. The host and entire staff were So friendly and accommodating.

Das Hotel ist wirklich ein Traum. Angefangen von der Gastgeberin Maria mit ihrem kompletten Team. Freundlich, hilfsbereit und professionell. Die gesamte Anlage ist extrem gepflegt und es wurde in den letzten Monaten sehr viel investiert (neues Lokal & Frühstücksraum, etc. etc.) Wir waren wirklich überwältigt, da es im Internet größtenteils noch alte Bilder gab - und wir erst bei Ankunft gesehen haben, wie schön es dann wirklich ist. Auch die Lage ist sehr gut - weg vom Trubel der Altstadt, aber dennoch sind die Strände sowie etliche Restaurants zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Bus in die Altstadt hält mehr oder weniger direkt vor der Tür. Hervorheben möchte ich auch noch das hauseigene Restaurant, welches auch externen Gästen zu Verfügung steht - eine kleine aber wirklich sehr feine Auswahl an Gerichten. Wir hatten einen tollen und entspannten Aufenthalt. Nur leider war es zu kurz...

Ich habe NICHTS zu beanstanden.

The property seems relatively new which is a plus point. The key positive was the office staff who was always upbeat and happy to help, even if not always effectively.

1. Location: Not favorable too far to walk to beach, not convenient due to narrow road without paths. Distance to city bus stop uphill. Views ok partial for Ornos. 2. Value: The price of 3000 USD for three nights not even peak season for this property with its simple facilities and average breakfast despite friendly however not always efficient or well informed office staff is completely overpriced. 3. Facilities: There are not really any to mention. The breakfast restaurant is cute but nothing special, the pool is tiny without views, the gym is not worth mentioning. 4. Room features: The style is called minimalistic … however basically the room is bare and empty. A bed, a bench, some shelves a small TV, bed side tables all quite low quality. The bed mattress was comfortable but the pillows were hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom small with the toilet flushing system flooding the bathroom every time. The shower head was leaking. The hot water took forever. The sink tab was wrongly installed and not centered which splashed over the sink. The outdoor tub was nice but due to heavy winds on Mykonos not often used. 5. Cleanliness: ok in general with dirt under the bench chair when we had to move it. Dust on the shelves. Some grouting stains already in the bathroom. No amenities at all nothing, no fruit no Greek small surprise. The bathroom amenities are still one time use plastic bottles. Unacceptable for an island and a resort. Water only on day one and need to be constantly reminded and requested for refill just for cheap plastic bottles. 6. Assistance: The ladies in the office are helpful and friendly but not very experienced nor effective. However they are really trying. Thank you. And unfortunately like everywhere in Mykonos everything is about money, nothing is for free, everything extra charged. Mykonos wants to be a top island resort but it is far from it. 7. Breakfast was average: ok cold selection with smoked salmon. Some bread and sticks.

We had a wonderful stay at the Kallos. The room was large and very clean. The entire property was stylish and the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was large and delicious. The icing on the cake is the public bus station next to the hotel which brings you in the evening easily to the chora and back.

Nothing

The food was very delicious and had great variety. The staff on had was also helpful and helped us with any questions as well as with seating arrangements as we were a larger group. They were fantastic!
