"Perfect location"

Perfect location in the centre of Stalis, 2 minutes from the beach. Manos, Katerina and mum are great hosts. Nothing is too much trouble.

Rooms are quite basic and there was no TV.

As a lone traveller I was looking for the safest and also most economical place to stay. I booked the Anatoli Apartments based on a review from a review here and I am SO glad that I did. AC is included in the price at the Anatoli Apartments which is not always the case. The bed was comfy with clean linens, changed every couple of days. There was a kitchenette area (kettle was used a lot!) and a table and two chairs. Also a balcony with a table and two chairs overlooking the strip at Stalis. Manos is so incredibly warm and welcoming - he treats all his guests like family and spends quality time all day with everyone around the pool, which also brings the guests together if they want to. I only spent a few hours there myself as I fell in love with Stalis and the surrounding area of Crete and there is so much beauty to take in. The beach is about 100m from the apartments. I spent my time there at the Ocean Bar on an actual bed right at the front of the beach. The apartment is surrounded by convenient places to shop and to eat. The bus stop (number 29) is just around the corner and up the hill and is a really convenient way to travel to many places on the island. It only costs 4 euros between here and the airport for example. Highly recommend. I had the most wonderful stay.

I wasn't expecting the Ritz because I wasn't paying luxury prices but the room was clean and functional and was a lovely safe place to sleep.
