Windmill Apartments

I had an amazing experience at Windmill Apartments! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The cleaning service was impressively fast, and my room was not only spotless but also incredibly comfortable, with a bed adorned with plenty of pillows. The air conditioning worked perfectly, ensuring a comfortable stay. What's more, the Wi-Fi coverage extended all the way to the beach, which was a pleasant surprise. The bar had a wide variety of delicious cocktails, and the breakfasts were simply fantastic. The location was in a wonderfully quiet area, providing a peaceful atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. Overall, my vacation at Windmill Apartments was unforgettable, and I can't thank their team enough for making it such a fantastic experience!🤍💙🇬🇷

It is very close to the beach . The nights are really quiet.

The hosts did not meet my expectations concerning helpfulness and friendlyness. The apartment was not clean when I first got there and there was an old smell in the room. During my stay it got worse with dust and sand on the floor although I told the cleaning staff.

Although I wasn't staying at the apartments, I did visit Windmill beach bar a couple of times during my week in Malia. It's a fab location with great views of the ocean and little island just off Malia. Had drinks and bar snacks on both of my visits, and these were very nice and reasonably priced. I'll defintitely go back to Windmill when I'm next in Malia.

We had to find a hotel after arriving in Malia and finding that our hotel was not suitable. Everything was perfect. Loved the closeness to the sea and the very friendly staff of this family run hotel.

We spend 15 days at Windmill in June 2015. The hotel is beautifully situated 100 meters from the beach. It has a large swimmingpool and a restaurant directly on the beach. Because of the fact that the buildings are a bit inland from the main road you don't have problems with sounds and noises from the road. Unfortunatly the rooms aren't noise isolated from sounds coming from within the building itself. This means that noises, from the reception for example, can be heared quite wel within the rooms. This can be a issue for a light sleeping baby for example. A fact we ran into a few times. The rooms are furnished with a few sofas and plastic patio chairs. They include airconditioning, a small stove, a small fridge and a electric kettle. Unfortunately the rooms leave a bit to be desired with regards to cleaning. Especially underneath the sofas and beds it's quite nasty. We had to move the sofa for our babybed and had to ask for a bit of extra cleaning.
