This is a family run agriturismo The breakfast was good. Plenty to eat and coffee made for you on request. The evening food was excellent and of good value all home made. The wine was also exceptional good value. One night the owners put antipasto/wine evening in the vines which was really nice. The pool is of a good size and easily accessible.

There was a couple of things wrong in my room which I did mention but they did not get sorted. The owners work very hard running the agriturismo that they don’t have time for the maintenance of the place.

Coffee was nice but nothing salty..

The checkin was not very successful, I had to figure out in the heat having the dogs in the car how to get there. Maps showed wrongfully and no one answered the phone I called 12 times. And You have to pay 30€ if You come after 17h which is ridiculous

Wi-Fi off… restaurant closes all week… breakfast minimal but fine for the price. No access to food drink meant going out a lot

We stayed at the Agriturismo Il Poderetto for a week with our child and dog. The apartment was small and simple, but very clean and organized. It was great for our stay. The farm is an idyllic and lovely place, surrounded by grapevines nearby a river. Very peaceful and relaxing. The pool is absolutely amazing and new. We were even lucky to have it just for ourselves during our stay. It was great to enjoy it during the hot days. The hosts are a delight. The couple who manages the farm (Alessio and Sara), are super welcoming and were ready to help us when needed. Their small restaurant is a treat (open Saturday and Sunday at 8pm). The food prepared by Sara is delicious and their wine selection is composed by their own wine label (also really tasty). Highly recommend staying at Agriturismo Il Poderetto if you want to enjoy the “dolce far niente”.

Not exactly negative aspects, just a few heads up: - The road leading to the farm is rustic and uneven. But it’s a just the last stretch of the trip (500m). - Because of the river you can expect mosquitos, specially during summer.
