Agriturismo Corte dei Landi

It is a very nice facility. The room is clean and comfy.

the owner is very nice and easy to communicate. he knows everything local. He helped us find all the nice food and wine. The breakfast was delicious too.

We chose this agriturismo to get a break in a rural setting after hours on the motorway. This is not far from the A1. The site is very quiet, located at the end of a narrow lane amid farmland - though few shops are within 20 minutes walk (few minutes drive). The room was comfortable, and the bathroom well appointed. Wi-fi was available as well as a small coffee machine. Looking at the images on the website I guess we were offered the room that is less traditional in furnishings and lighting. The bed was comfortable anyway, and there were still sufficient details (windows and shutters, the wooden table, the tiling) to maintain the rural atmosphere. We were looking forward to sample some of the wonderful cuisine mentioned on the website, but sadly on arrival we learnt that the restaurant is not open on Monday evening (it is not mentioned on the website we used to book and may be useful to note to anyone whose visit includes that day). The restaurants in walking distance were all closed also, so reluctantly we had to get in the car again. It was a bit frustrating as we were hoping for this to be a one-stop and a respite from the roads for few hours. However, this being the wonderful region it is, we were successful in finding a good trattoria not too far. Breakfast was delicious with both savoury and pastry offerings, as well as bread and fresh fruit. The property is well appointed and, if passing, we might try the restaurant.
