Al Afiah Corniche Hotel Apartment

They are spacious apartments, with a living room area, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The property is beach front, and it’s only 5 minutes walking from the Souq’s entrance and 10 minutes walking from the town centre where you can find restaurants, bakeries etc. It also has a coffee shop and restaurant next door. Many reviews reference to the shabby look of it- I’d say, don’t expect a Ritz standard for such a Low price. You get what you pay for - it’s very basic and simple but it does the job. The only part I found was not very clean was the kitchen - not really an issue for us as we didn’t intend to use it anyways. The rest is clean and tidy.

The beds are hard as hell. I would suggest to the owners to replace the mattresses as they were uncomfortable to sleep in.

The location is across the ocean with beautiful views of the ocean.

The room was dirty, the little cutlery and crockery in the kitchen was dirty. Staff was unfriendly and disengaged. Overpriced. I do not recommend this place at all. It was the worst accommodation that we booked in Oman.

Ideal location on the Corniche with parking at the door. Good base to explore the town on foot and the surrounding area by car.

Location was excellent. Beds were comfortable.

The kitchen needed a good clean and some basic equipment. Not even any useable cups or glasses provided.

Clean,quiet enough,near the beach,really spacious, parking spot,really good price,nice view from the terrace a few metres from tha apartment's door.

Could have more utensils in the kitchen, I would say it lacks basic ones,although I did not need them.

Good location on the beach (although it's not a beach view, the road is behind the beach road). Street food restaurants below. Parking is on the street. Very big apartment, separate kitchen and lounge.
