Absolutely the best thing about our stay was our host Francesca! She was so kind and attentive during our entire stay, seeing to all of our needs. Plus, very helpful upon our arrival which was very much appreciated!! Between her and her mother and father, Morena and Pietro, we couldn’t have asked for anything better for our stay near to Pitigliano. The rooms and the building where we stayed was most comfortable and quiet, not hearing any sounds except the quiet countryside. The grounds were exceptionally well maintained and cared for. Beautiful! The room was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The bathroom facilities super excellent. It was great to have a common sitting area just outside of the room. Breakfast was wonderful with the availability of cooked eggs as well as cakes, pastries, cheese and meats - all wonderfully prepared by Francesca and her mother. We very much looked forward to breakfast each morning and being able to visit with the other guests. Locanda Pantanello was very very convenient to visiting Pitigliano and the surrounding towns and countryside. It certainly is a beautiful part of Tuscany with many interesting places to visit and things to learn about. But again, the main reason to arrive to Locanda Pantanello is to share in the kindness and hospitality of Francesca and her family.

Our stay at Locanda Pantanello was truly special and will remain one of our fondest memories of Tuscany. From the moment we arrived, Francesca welcomed us with such warmth and genuine hospitality that we immediately felt like at home. The location is simply beautiful—peaceful, surrounded by stunning countryside, and perfectly situated for exploring the enchanting area around Pitigliano. Everything was impeccably maintained, and our room was comfortable, spotless, and thoughtfully prepared. Every morning was a delight. The breakfasts were wonderful, featuring delicious homemade cakes lovingly baked by Francesca's mother. These little touches made our stay feel authentic and personal, and we looked forward to breakfast each day. Another highlight was the beautifully prepared basket of local cheeses and cured ham, which allowed us to savour the flavours of the region. The selection was excellent, generous, and clearly chosen with care. We also appreciated the opportunity to enjoy some fantastic local wines available at the property, making our evenings even more memorable. What makes Locanda Pantanello truly exceptional, however, is Francesca herself and her family. Their kindness and attentiveness made our stay exceptionally happy. Francesca was always happy to offer recommendations and ensure that we had everything we needed, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. Especially appreciated were her recommendations for local restaurants in Pitigliano. Leaving was difficult, and we found ourselves wishing we could stay longer. Locanda Pantanello is much more than just a place to stay—it is a place where you can experience the warmth, beauty, and authentic spirit of Maremma in Tuscany. We are already looking forward to returning. Thank you, Francesca, for making our stay so memorable. We wholeheartedly recommend Locanda Pantanello to anyone seeking an unforgettable Tuscan escape.

Wir wurden recht spät um 20:00h sehr freundlich empfangen. Es wurde extra auf uns gewartet. Das Haus wurde super renoviert, die Zimmer sind sehr schön, es ist gemütlich, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Das Frühstücksbuffet im Freien ist schön angerichtet, es ist alles da, was man braucht. Das Anwesen ist bezaubernd mit der mit Bäumen gesäumten Einfahrt, den Pferden, dem Pool, wirklich alles sehr schön und gepflegt, die ganze Familie wirkt mit, alle sehr freundlich, wir kommen gerne wieder !!!

Es ist kein 5-Sterne Hotel und keine billige Absteige. Es ist einfach alles so, wir wir uns das vorgestellt haben. Perfekt !

Unglaublich freundliche Inhaber, die alle Hebel in Bewegung setzen, einem den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Sehr schönes Haus mit gepflegtem Garten, tollem Pool und guter Tischtennisplatte mit allem, was man dafür braucht. Schöner Frühstücksbereich mit gutem Angebot. Garage für unsere Fahrräder mit Lademöglichkeit.

Wir hatten mit größeren Zimmern gerechnet. Die Bilder, die Booking.com zeigt, sind wohl die größeren Familienzimmer? Die normalen Doppelzimmer sind doch deutlich kleiner. Der Kleiderschrank ist optisch sehr schön, aber mit 5 Kleiderbügeln und keiner Ablagefläche, sehr unpraktisch. Die Inhaber haben uns ein Regal für die Kleiderablage besorgt, was wirklich sehr nett war! Der Kühlschrank ist sehr klein. Es passen 3 Flaschen rein und sonst nichts. Wir kaufen gerne Fressalien auf Märkten ein, um Brotzeit zu machen. Der kleine Kühlschrank ermöglicht es nicht, Reste aufzubewahren. Die Badezimmer sind klein. Wenn jemand am Waschbecken steht, kann der andere nicht einfach rein oder raus. Man muss immer erst zur Seite gehen.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön gestaltet und verfügt über einen tollen Pool. Unser Zimmer war mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war einfach fantastisch und mit viel Sorgfalt zubereitet. Ein besonderes Dankeschön geht an Francesca und ihre Mutter, die uns mit ihrer herzlichen Art begeistert haben. Beide waren unglaublich nett, aufmerksam und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Auch die Lage ist hervorragend. Das wunderschöne Pitigliano ist in kürzester Zeit mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Absolute Empfehlung!
