0 stars if possible. Avoid residence antico torchio. We'd already paid €460 up front. But on the day we arrived, just hours before check-in, they sprang an extra payment on us, rather than sorting it weeks ahead or after the stay like a normal place would. And they refused to tell us how to park or even get into the apartment until we'd paid it. Then, even after we paid and sent proof, the door was STILL locked. We had to wait for someone to come unlock it by hand. A stressful, badly run welcome after a long day of travelling. There are far better places around Lake Como. Don't book this one.

I stayed for 2 nights at Resident Antico Torchio in Dervio. What I liked: - Great location, very close to Dervio station - The host was very kind and helpful - The apartment was modern and well equipped - The lawn and garden area were very nice

The towels could have been cleaner
